Volunteer at the PTA Clothing Center October 16th

Did you know there’s a huge clothing center inside Marshall High, providing free clothing to our public school kids?

This PTA-sponsored clothing center provides warm winter coats, new socks and underwear, jeans, and much more for PPS kids in need. Currently, the Center is serving 35-50 PPS students daily.

Every Monday and Thursday morning the clothing center lobby fills with families and groups of students waiting their turn to go through the racks and pick out items for themselves.

Please contact Natasha Banks ([email protected]) if you are interested in volunteering with other Richmond volunteers on October 16th between 9:30 am – 1:30 pm.  We’ll break into two groups:  9:30-11:30 am and11:30 am -1:30 pm.  Even if you can only come one hour, your help will be appreciated!

Also, donations made directly to the Center at Marshall are always greatly appreciated. The Clothing Center is currently running low on boys/girls jean and shirts size 4-12, warm coats, as well as pre-teen sizes.
