Drum roll please…..the 2014 Run for Richmond Results are in! After checking and double checking here are the final numbers:
Total students who ran: 635
Total laps run: 13,816 (field laps, that is, about 1/8 mile)
Total miles: 1,727 (!)
Total $ pledged for enrichment at Richmond: $35,397.82 – WOW!!
Now all we need to do is turn those pledges into actual dollars collected, and we’ll be on our way to art, music, poetry, and science galore in 2014/2015.
Please put remittances in the Big Red PTA Mailbox in the front hallway, outside Room 110. Many wonderful volunteers donated hours of their time to make this event possible. It was a fun and frenzied day, and with it sometimes come mistakes and mix-ups. If the donation form you received had any errors or miscalculations, please correct them and simply remit what you believe the right amount to be.
