Please consider buying seasonal apples and pears to support our Richmond PTA and a local third-generation Japanese farming family by purchasing fresh fall fruit. Kiyokawa Family Orchard is selling us their beautiful, juicy, ripe fruit in many varieties at great prices. Fifty percent (50%) of each box is pure profit for our school so buy for pies, applesauce, school lunches, and just plain good eating!
Kiyokawa Family Orchard is located in Hood River and one of many businesses in the Columbia Gorge that have been impacted by the Eagle Creek Fire. Just in case you needed one more great reason to support this sale.
On the order form, you’ll find a description of each apple and pear variety so you can choose the one(s) that best suits your taste. Feel free to share this opportunity with family and friends. We will also have tasty recipe ideas available at pick up.
* Orders are due Thursday, October 12th in the big red PTA mailbox outside of room 110.
* Pickup in the Richmond “breezeway” between the cafeteria and school – Friday, October 27th 2:00-5:00pm
