Walk and Bike Challenge Month!

May is Oregon Walk and Bike challenge month. Richmond students can participate in any of the following ways:

1. Stop and Walk for families that drive. Park a few blocks away from school or your bus stop and walk the rest of the way.

2. Walk, Bike, Skate, Scooter to your bus stop or to school.

Students and families are encouraged to participate as many times as possible.
Benefits:

a. Less car traffic congestion and pollution near school is safer for everyone.
b. More walking and biking means more physical activity and better health.

On Friday, May 1 students can pickup a Walk and Bike scorecards before and after school. Students who return a completed scorecard at the end of May will be entered into a raffle to win prizes.

Scorecards will be available for pickup anytime in the Richmond mail room next to the main office.
