Student performances are back at this year’s annual Spring Festival – “Haru Matsuri” – one of the PTA’s largest fundraisers and a Richmond cultural tradition. Family and friends are welcome to join Saturday, May 17th, from 11am-4pm on the Richmond playground.
Special features include student grade-level musical performances in the cafeteria, big bouncy houses in the field, favorite classroom “booth” activities, and yummy Japanese and other cultural culinary delights. Watch for the student performance schedule to know when your child is “on stage” as well as information about activity bracelet pre-sales.
Looking for an important and much needed way to support PTA and our students? Consider volunteering to help out at this fun and wonderful community event. Look for a volunteer sign-up sheet outside your child’s classroom to help with activity booths or with escorting students on stage for their class performances. We also need parent volunteers to help with managing bouncy houses, set-up the morning of the festival, and clean-up afterward. If you are interested in helping in any way, please contact Laurie Perdue at [email protected].
Many thanks to parent Kelly Thompson for designing this year’s beautiful Spring Festival poster!
