Last Spring the PTA membership voted to embark on a capital campaign to raise over $400K for playground improvements, the most significant of which is a new turf field to replace the existing grass field in the south end of the Richmond school grounds.
Playground Improvement Committee Chair Pat Lando kick started the improvements over the summer, overseeing the creation of two wall ball walls and new playground striping. Many thanks to Pat and his children Reed and Piper, for all the time they spent on the Richmond grounds this summer to make certain the year got off to a great start.
